Forging Flowers

Create something beautiful at the forge in this relaxed, creative course focused on forging decorative flowers in metal.

Currently offered by private booking only, this experience is perfect for romantic sessions, gifts, and team-building days. It’s also one of our less physically demanding courses, making it an accessible and enjoyable introduction to decorative blacksmithing.

You can choose to forge a variety of blooms, including roses, lilies, daffodils, poppies, and more. Projects can be tailored to your preferences — forge in steel or copper, finish with a polished or painted surface, add stalks or freestanding bases, or even create a custom forged vase to display your work.

The standard day would see us forge 2 different types of flowers, though if you prefer to take your time and add more detail we can go more slowly, some speedy groups have even managed 3! We have had attendees wish to forge their own wreathes before, which are very complex, but it shows what can be achieved!
