Copper Repoussé for beginners
learn how to chase copper sheet to make a beautiful piece of panel art!
In this course, you will learn how to chase sheet copper and sculpt it into a 3d A5 panel, ending the day by inserting your panel into a frame, ready to hang from the wall!
We have a booklet full of different designs, from beginners entry level concepts through to more intermediate challenges, fit for all skill levels.
What is Repoussé? It means to push, the english translation name for this technique being 'Chasing', but that lacks a certian Je Ne c'est qouix. Repoussé is a highly decorative technique, something you would do to embelish and adorn your work, be it jewellery, silverwear, wall art or even armour plating!
This course runs from 10am-5pm and is currently available for both Public courses and Private experiences.
